Medieval Times in AZ is looking to hire not one but two Lord Chancellors
AZ's new Medieval Times dinner theater, now being built near Scottsdale, AZ, is looking for two Lord Chancellors to serve as masters of ceremony. One position requires extensive horseback riding while the other does not. Applicants must have a commanding voice and be comfortable working in front of a live audience.
According to Leigh Cordner, cast manager and director of shows, the premise is simple. Holding her first tournament as monarch, the new queen has invited knights from the six realms to compete in a grand tournament so she can find her champion. The Lord Chancellor will greet guests, take pictures with guests prior to and following the show, and lead the action at the dinner theater.
The 80,000-square-foot Medieval Times castle is currently being built near Loop 101 and Via de Ventura near Scottsdale, AZ. Construction remains on track for a summer 2019 opening.
